CMS FINANCE GUIDELINE - Check Youtube Revenue

Check Youtube Revenue on EMVN CMS

1. Access Finance base

  • Click on the icon in the upper left corner to switch between 2 websites: http://cms.emvn.co and http://acc.emvn.co.
  • The default view is Revenue Earning in the Commercial Sale section.

2. Youtube (for ContentID):

a. Check Revenue Earning:

  • Click on YouTube -> Revenue Earning
  • Select time range
  • You can switch to different tabs: Summary, Assets, Channel, or Video to view your earnings from different perspectives. 

Summary: Revenue from ContentID and Channel (if your Youtube Channel is managed by EMVN); chart for Monthly earning.

Assets: Received money from each asset. You can filter by Asset Types, Sources.

Click on the "+" icon next to Asset title to view details about the claimed videos on that asset.

Channels: Received money from each channel that has claimed videos on your assets.

Click on the "+" icon next to Channel title to view details about the claimed videos on your asset.

Videos: Received money from each claimed video on your asset.

Click on the "+" icon next to Video title to view details about assets claiming the video.

b. Share Config:

  • Click on Youtube -> Share Config

Case 1: Just you and EMVN share Youtube revenue

  • You will be automatically filled in the Role column as Composer/ Label/Musician,... with the Commission on the ContentID or CMS Contract.

Case 2: You want to add another party (singer, producer,...) as a collaborator to share revenue. 

Steps: 

  • Click on the Letter icon on the right side (next to Search text box) and enter User's email, then click Invite.
  • If your User does not exist in the system, an invitation email would be sent to him to register a new account.

  • Now you are back to the Share Config page. Tick on the checkbox next to the ALBUM NAME header to select All Tracks or select specific tracks that you want to share. Note that: upon ticked, there is an Edit Icon that appears next to Letter Icon. Click on it.

  • Pick the user that you want to share, select Role, and enter Commission as well.

Note that: You do not have to wait for the User to register his new account as it's automatically created on the fly.

  • Finally, click Add, then Save
  • After that, you can click on the "+" icon next to each album name to view details.

You may configure many shares in many tracks of many albums to different users. Therefore, the 2 Drop Lists: All Users and All Albums at the beginning of the page may help you to filter this.

3. Export Revenue:

  • Click Youtube -> Revenue earning-> Export tab

  • Select time range -> Export -> Click on file name to download
